To volunteer for this amazing event is super inspiring and also a ton of fun! Cheering on 500 cyclists of all ages and abilities is captivating. Having had the privilege to volunteer for other sport-related events, the Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo tops them all for the dedicated team effort and comradery of all the volunteers. Everyone has the same goal in mind – showcase our beautiful corner of BC through a well-organized world-class event. Each year we have amazing local organizations enthusiastically offer to help run the Aid Stations. What a terrific way to spread the fun and event proceeds throughout the local communities. So very proud to be a spoke in the KRGF organizing team wheel and a Cranbrook Sunrise Rotarian.
